Kick-off Meeting January 27: Safeplaces - Säkraplatser

Safeplaces is a new network for information sharing, research collaboration, and teaching, devoted to knowledge-creation about crime and place, and crime prevention initiatives. The Safeplaces network is based at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and is a national resource supported by the Swedish Crime Prevention Council. The Safeplaces network is focused on activities for those who work with local crime prevention and safety issues, such as safety coordinators, police officers, urban planners, and other experts devoted to improve local safety conditions. The network contributes also to support improvement of methodological skills and knowledge building in the situational conditions of crime and safety. '
